If you need some prompts to help you get things going, you can use the following:

1 - Roommates: You just got to El Sera and you're settling in to your new dorm or apartment. Now would be a good time to get to know your new roommate. Maybe the two of you can go out shopping for clothes and food with the allowance from Xochipilli...?

2 - Battle: You were just minding your own business when a monster suddenly attacked! Or is that another magical boy...? Either way, it's time to transform and take care of this mess.

3 - Romance: A confession, a first date, maybe even an engagement proposal. El Sera is an oceanfront city and a riverside city, so there are plenty of romantic spots to choose from.

4 - The Power of Friendship: Your friends are there for you. Whether you're in a desperate struggle or just feeling down, they're here to pick you up and help you out.

5 - Rivals: You're minding your own business when you see... him. Be it at school, while your out shopping, or waiting for the bus, things just got a lot more tense.

[Well, gee, this whole thing was a mess. He was a mess. He looked like- like the master, and he moved like him, too. He saw like him, he stood like him, and there's not even a tail to wag and he can't even lift his ears.]

[And no matter how hard he tries to sniff, it's just not happening.]

[I mean-- yeah. So Copper's there, in one of the bedrooms. Reckon it's his now. He rolled on the bed. So anyway, he's just been taking these long sniffs. And he just can't get a scent. He knows the other master's just in the other room, but it's not until he speaks up that Copper pokes his head out of where he's been holed up.]

Well, I don't know what a cuppa is but I sure do wanna walk. [Why... he even talks like a master, too!]

[John manages not to roll his eyes at the other man. Of course they'd wind up in some part of America.]

Cup of tea. Or coffee if that's more to your liking. [He slides a marker into his book and sets it aside before rising and heading toward the door. He goes to put on his coat, but the mild climate here doesn't warrant that. One more ritual gone. He sighs, then quirks up his lips in a smile at Copper.]

We can make a run to the chemist, as well, if you're feeling... congested? [It's hard not to notice the way the other man huffs in his breaths. John just prays he hasn't gotten stuck with another addict.]

[He thinks he's smelled "coffee" before. He thinks. Now fully stepping out of the room, nearer to John, he almost looks scolded. The man is obviously trying to be friendly... and he doesn't know what to rightly do about it.]

Chemist? I don't know what that is, either.

[John rummages around the recesses of his American slang knowledge and pulls out something he hopes is right.] Drug store? You've been sniffing since we got here. [He offers a wry smile.] Unless you're trying to tell me something about my aftershave. Better out with that if it's bothering you. It was just the cheapest thing in the shop.

[He opens the door and motions for Copper to get them going. He has a feeling this is going to be a lot of 'what's that?' on the other man's part, and John would rather deal with that moving.]
